• Component Integrity & Inspection Engineering (CI&IE) is a section within Major Component Engineering and is responsible for the following technical areas for Nuclear Components:-Risk Informed Engineering-Steam.
• Risk Informed Engineering:-Production of probabilistic and statistically-based operational assessments for degradation mechanisms affecting various plant components-Utilize advanced statistical techniques to assess.
• Steam Generator Assessment:-Provide full scale operational & outage support, specialized analysis, and life cycle management for SGs and PHs-Preparation of life cycle management documents and outage scope.
• Inspection & Maintenance Engineering:-Provide support in the areas of NDE specifications, inspection and maintenance program and procedure development, regulatory interface, third party expert reviews, inspection.
• Fitness-for-Service (FFS):-Provide FFS support for nuclear and balance of plant components-Assessment of in-service flaws to determine FFS and remaining life through application of FFS guidelines (e.g. ASME Section XI.

The Canadian Nuclear Society (CNS) promotes the exchange of information on all aspects of nuclear science and technology and its applications. This includes nuclear power generation, fuel production, uranium mining and refining, management of radioactive wastes and used fuel. • Worked as a Senior Engineer in Amec Foster Wheeler's Steam Generator Assessment and Risk Informed Engineering Section, part of the Major Component Engineering Directorate which is responsible for nuclear plant outage.
• Provided engineering support for all nuclear plant major components and work with utility engineering representatives during Inspection Outages at Various Nuclear Generating Stations.
• Worked with utility engineering representatives to determine inspection scopes and plan inspection activities that are required to meet regulatory and management requirements.
• Developed and prepared assessment methodologies to monitor degradation mechanisms and provide assurance that nuclear plant components operate reliably and safely over their operating intervals.
• Developed inspection strategies to monitor component condition, trended and interpreted inspection results, and performed risk and reliability analysis for fuel channels, feeders, steam generators, and other nuclear.
• Worked with engineering staff at Nuclear Plant Utilities to develop technical programs in response to inspection findings during outages as well as running programs that ensure optimal plant performance and safety.

• Prepare Results Assessments and Component Dispositions for submission to government regulatory agencies to support continued safe operation of nuclear plant components.
