I have research and development experience in a number of areas associated with environmental technologies, ranging from biological wastewater treatment to hydrothermal processing of solid wastes. I have strong experience providing research into the pulp and paper sector, branching out to wider industrial and domestic wastes. I have particular interest in development of tools and methods for reactor monitoring and control, and in technology scale-up. I have a developing interest in anaerobic fermentation, and for new opportunities in gas phase fermentation - utilising methane or CO2 as fermentation feedstocks.
