Created and developed a new department called Pre-Production Prototype. Responsible for identifying critical dimensions and fabricate new part designs based on customers’ part prints. Schedule and operate machines/equipment (CNC-Router, Punch Press, Guillotine Cutter, Cutout Press, etc.) to fabricate prototype components. Utilize MasterCAM program to create part drawing/fixture design and generate G-Code program for CNC-Router. Set up machine/equipment to fabricate new part design. Inspect part configuration and troubleshoot/resolve work processes according to customers’ part print. Perform certain duties on AS/400 to document/maintain work orders and schedule personnel to fabricate customers’ components. Maintain documentations of orders, files, and samples of components as well as inventory and dept. supplies.

Utilize root-cause analysis to troubleshoot overall processes to maintain profile configuration and final part configuration. Identify and inform Supervisor of machine/fabrication punch die problems. Utilized engineering aspects to develop and implement curriculum/instruction for 50 minute classes/day for 6th, 7th, 8th grade. Daily after school tutoring for Mathematic was offered. Maintain up keep and troubleshoot schools computers/laptops and network. Participated with after school programs (i.e. Honor Society, Student Council, and Yearbook). Mentored students’ involvement developing and creating Yearbook construction. Coached boys JV and Varsity Basketball, co-ed 3rd/4th grade Soccer.

Due to economic changes, I taught a basic introduction to computer course, Microsoft Office Suite. When EPCC was part of the Microsoft Academy, certifiable courses were offered. In order to teach the courses, I had to be Microsoft certified. As a result, the department’s yield rate increased to a consistent 98-99% ratio up from an inconsistent 80%.
