  • Diluu
    Founder And Cto
    Diluu Mar 2021 - Present
Heyspanish is a startup focused on teaching languages online to children. Our goal is to motivate kids to learn a language by making classes as fun and interactive as possible. To the point where only parents know they're attending classes; kids think they're just meeting up with their friends to have fun, but suddenly... BAM! They're all speaking in another language without even realizing it!Currently, we operate in over 50 countries, conducting classes in groups with kids from different nationalities. This leads us to countless challenges, managing different time zones, currencies, and and daylight saving adjustments to ensure that children can attend their classes in real-time. Our next challenge, to maintain this level, might just have to be launching a rocket to the moon. Stay tuned, Elon!
  • Cobee
    Back-End Developer
    Cobee Feb 2021 - Jan 2022
    Madrid, Comunidad De Madrid, España
During my time at Cobee, the integration of PWC's HR software appeared on the roadmap, to which the team proposed an ad-hoc solution, at the same time a similar integration with Mahou appeared and it seemed that new integrations of the same type would appear by studying the HR software ecosystem. So I involved the other team to study a scalable solution that would work for both and that in the future would allow the integration with others. After studying the solution between both teams, I suggested to the PO to modify the roadmap to develop the solution that, although it was more expensive, would allow future integrations in a much easier way. Finally, I led the development of the solution and the result was a success, allowing the integration with Mahou in record time.
  • Racetick
    Cto/Tech Lead
    Racetick Aug 2019 - Feb 2021
    Barcelona Y Alrededores, España
Racetick was a popular competition marketplace specializing in running, cycling, swimming, and triathlons. The objective of my role was to internalise the development that until then had been outsourced, so I was in charge of forming an internal IT team and transferring knowledge. One of the problems I found was that despite the size of the team we would have to maintain applications in 3 different technologies (PHP, Angular and Node). In addition, at SEO level, the web needed a series of quite large refactorizations, so I studied the possibility of migrating the application from PHP to Angular and after negotiating with the CEO, we decided to make the migration. Finally we managed to triple the SEO score. The development team grew to 4 people.Another of the challenges that arose was that internally we manually rewrote the users in each race due to the impossibility of all the races using our platform, which raised the possibility of creating a tool that automatically registered the participants. After talking with the registration department about how they did the process, we came to the conclusion that it was extremely difficult to create a tool that would work in all the races since each one used its own registration engine, so the solution I proposed was to create a POC that learned by doing. Although the process remained manual, it was optimised a 70% by auto-completing most details right after the first sign-up.
  • Qdq Media
    Scrum Master/Full Stack Developer
    Qdq Media Apr 2018 - Jul 2019
During my time at QDQ, two problems arose. The first was that the implementation of the agile methodology was causing too much friction for the delivery of value so I spoke with the CTO to allow me to be a scrum master in the team and improve the process. Finally, I managed to make the meetings more optimal and we could deliver more value and, above all, be more stable and measurable in its delivery. The second was that the continuous integration process was too slow, taking more than forty minutes to deploy a change, so I talked to the team to study how to improve it. The solution I proposed was to divide the application into micro-frontends in order to avoid dependencies between domains and allow continuous integration to be executed in chunks.
  • Intelygenz
    Fullstack Developer
    Intelygenz Feb 2017 - Apr 2018
    Madrid Y Alrededores, España
I spent most of the time developing POCs for clients. Above all, it was in back projects with NodeJs writing chatbots and some other micro-services projects exposing an API and obtaining data from MongoDb databases. In the Front part I made an app for the calculation of points to acquire a loan in the United States in Angular. Also a POC in Ionic to test which technology would be more profitable for a hybrid application (Angular, React, Vue) and I received training in React and Vue.In this company there was a very high priority in the testing of the developments and their quality, which allowed me to obtain a great training in design patterns, TDD, ATDD... Which seems to me to be one of the most important parts of "Agile" developments I also actively participated in the API and Javascript "Programs".
