I currently manage the balanced business scorecard of 39 Nationwide Branches with circa 400 colleagues. I have 11 line reports, 4 district managers that are accountable for 9/10 branches each, 5 Quality Supervisors who are responsible for conduct risk in the Area and two Area Support Assistants.

Reporting directly to the MD of London. Responsible for income, service, people and conduct risk performance of the retail branch network in the City of London.

• Accountable for the overall performance of 59 Natwest Branches, 30 Private Banking Portfolio’s and 594 FTE. I currently have 11 Direct Line Reports including 7 Area Managers and 3 Area Private Managers.• Responsible for providing strategic direction across a Region, focusing on long term planning and profitability of the Region and delivering solutions which enable strategic and competitive benefit.• Coaching and support of Area Managers and Area Private Managers to deliver business plans – Finance, business, people, risks balanced with costs and profitability.• Manage costs in line with budget plan, including salary costs, preventable fraud losses and cash losses.• Develop and deliver an effective Regional Strategy through knowledge of UK Retail Strategy, forecasting market trends and direct reports’ knowledge of their local customer base.
