2013 I began working at Graham Packaging for two and a half years as an operator where I learned how to do processing, quality testing, and minor mechanical machine work on Sidels. In 2015 I was then recommended and given an opportunity at Silgan Plastics as a process technician where I advanced in more in depth processing for both blow molding and injection molding. Since being at Silgan I have completed some Husky injection training and have transitioned from processing and mechanical work on Sidels to now running Sigs. I have now been in the Plastics industry for the last 11 years. In this amount of time i have also completed and certified in osha 10 training. Over last 4 years I have occasionally stepped in for supervisors taking personal time off work or as needed as I am a backup for a supervisors position. No I am not currently looking for a supervisor position but the experience is helping for potential future options.
