Doctor Daniel Gérard is the head of a psychiatric hospitalization unit at Ville-Evrard hospital (Seine St Denis, France). He is a psychiatrist graduated of both, Faculty of Medicine - Sorbonne University and ESCP Business School.He first worked in the pharmaceutical industry where he held several positions of increasing responsibility in medical affairs, mainly in the field of neurosciences and in the Sanofi Corporate Social Responsibility department where he was Associate Vice-President in charge of developing access to healthcare for people with mental disorders living in low-and-middle-income countries. Then he decided returning to the health public service.He has been participating in several research programs in mental public health, pharmacology, psychoeducation and contribution of artificial intelligence in psychiatric care.He also served 7 years as a volunteer psychiatrist in the largest homeless shelter in Paris.
