Modeled and simulated building distribution networks for AC and hypothetical DC buildings. The simulations contain detailed models for converters, wiring, batteries, solar power systems, and loads. They are performed with annual data in order to determine when the DC building outperforms the AC building and by how much.

Developed an integrated LED driver. The driver uses a unique combination of the multilevel inverter, sigma delta modulator, and switch capacitor technologies. Innovative topologies and controls allow for power factor correction, power ripple cancellation, dimming, galvanic isolation, and small form factor.

Developed the LED driver project (above) on a high voltage integrated circuit (IC) process. Involves the TI IC design process and numerous testing and failure analysis procedures.

Cleared for a secret security clearance (fall 2009).Developed and tested a miniature optical payload for the Raven unmanned air vehicle, which can provide high-resolution imagery for detection of improvised explosive devices. Required interfacing multiple COTS cameras with an embedded computer, modifying the camera driver, testing and implementing.
