Having obtained a BSc (hons) 1:1 Biological Sciences diploma from Heriot-Watt University in 2017, I have developed key laboratory and management skills within GMP and GCP settings, with nearly 3 and a half years of GMP experience.Having moved to Valneva Scotland in December 2020, I was an integral part of the COVID-19 Vaccine Manufacturing program. During this program I gained considerable experience in tangential flow filtration, bio-reactors and cell culture. I have experience in leading and managing numerous manufacturing teams in the manufacture of the commercial vaccines. In this role I am responsible for overseeing manufacturing activities, ensuring safe and compliant manufacturing practices, implementing process improvements and ensuring personal development of my team.I am an extremely driven individual who possesses extensive knowledge of the biological sciences, with a focus in immunology. I have gained substantial experience working under GMP, GCP and GLP conditions in both my academic and industrial roles.
