Post Doctoral Research Associate at the University of sheffield specialising in the fabrication and laboratory based experimental research, via magneto-optical spectroscopy, of atomically thin semiconductors. I work within a medium sized group of researchers, organising my own, and others, work to maximise our overall efficiency and understanding of these exciting materials. The vast majority of my time is spent within the laboratory, engaging in highly technical experiments, continually analysing the data as it is collected in order to adapt our exploration towards the most interesting and valuable potential function of the sample being studied.
