I completed my Chiropractic qualification in 2011 at Murdoch University in Perth, Western Australia. The spine is an incredibly important part of the human body and I am dedicated to educating people about their spine and maintaining its health and function.I experienced the value of chiropractic care first hand while playing elite level AFL football for the Fremantle Dockers. During my seven-year stint in the AFL, I received regular Chiropractic care from my father, Ross Gilmore, who has been a well-respected practicing Chiropractor in Perth for 34 years. The treatment I received allowed me to remain in peak performance and enjoy injury-free seasons by staying on top of my aches and pains. As a result of my football days, I have developed a keen interest in both general wellbeing and Sports Chiropractic. I practice the Diversified Technique to provide adjustments to my patients, and am also interested in other gentle techniques that improve the function of the spine and supporting muscles. I also use rehabilitation and soft tissue principles to give the patients the care they need by considering both injury treatment and general wellbeing.Due to my background in both sports and Chiropractic care, I am highly motivated to help my patients with many of the problems they may face in their daily life, including headaches, low back pain, musculoskeletal injuries, and general aches and pains. I am focussed on helping all my patients achieve their full potential and ensure that they attain a better quality of life through regular Chiropractic care including soft tissue therapy.Outside of the clinical setting, I have remained involved in elite levels of sport as the Head Coach of Sydney University's NEAFL team (Australian Rules Football (Nov 2012 - Nov 2016) and I am very passionate about sport from participation through to elite levels.
