Designer
• Complete independent projects a timely manner for Subsurface Safety Valve, Wireline Safety Valves, Locks and Nipples from initial concept to production.• Responsible for multiple facets of the design development process and documentation including creation of design packets, same as document, calculations, envelope, tech units, test documents, operation manuals, attributes, and accessory tools in accordance with API-14A and API-14L.• Interaction with vendors and manufacturing to receive quotes, lead times and to clarify design questions for new and/or existing products, tools, and test fixtures.• Assisted engineers in API audits.• Provided support to Vendors, Product Line, Engineering, Manufacturing and Quality Control by clarifying and/or updating drawings, manuals, calculations, test documentation and tech units with the use of ECNs and NCRs.
