I am the Director of the Procurement Collusion Strike Force, a nationwide, interagency partnership among the U.S. Department of Justice, Antitrust Division’s five criminal enforcement sections, over 20 U.S. Attorney’s Offices, and federal law enforcement agencies including the FBI and federal inspectors general. As a Senior Executive and the Director, I oversee and work with federal prosecutors and agents to deter, detect, investigate, and prosecute antitrust crimes and related criminal schemes that affect government procurement, grant, and program funding at all levels of government.

I was an Assistant Chief in the Chicago Office of the U.S. Department of Justice, Antitrust Division, where I supervised the investigation and prosecution of fraudulent schemes designed to undermine competition. My experience includes investigating and prosecuting international and domestic cartels, criminal conspiracies that target public agencies, bid rigging, price fixing, bribery, and other related federal crimes.

I was a line prosecutor of the U.S. Department of Justice, Antitrust Division’s Chicago Office, where I investigated and prosecuted companies, individuals, and cartels engaged in bid rigging, price fixing, and other fraudulent schemes and federal crimes.

I was a Special Assistant U.S. Attorney with the United States Attorney's Office for the Northern District of Illinois. I was detailed to the Office's Criminal Division, General Crimes Section, where I investigated and prosecuted of variety of federal offenses, including complex fraud schemes, bank robbery, embezzlement, money laundering, child exploitation, narcotics and firearms offenses, public and labor corruption, and violent crimes.

I served as an Assistant Inspector General at the City of Chicago Office of Inspector General. I advised the Inspector General on strategy, investigations, and fulfilling the OIG's mission to root out corruption, fraud, waste, and inefficiency in City government. My work included criminal and administrative cases related to lobbyists, campaign finance, bribery, contract and procurement fraud, public corruption, and police misconduct.

I was a litigation associate in the Chicago and Washington, D.C. offices of Latham & Watkins. At Latham, my practice focused primarily on white collar criminal defense, internal and government investigations, and antitrust matters in the U.S., South America, Europe, Western Africa, and the Middle East.

I was a PILI Fellow and worked in Zagreb, Croatia, where I focused on implementing judicial and institutional reform in a post-Communist country. I analyzed other post-Communist countries and their transition to an EU-recognized legal standard and made recommendations on implementation. I was also involved in research related to creating a regulatory framework and educating Croatian lawyers in modern legal practices.
