Howdy, my name is Daniel! I'm a Fullstack Software Developer. I am familiar with Python, Javascript, SQL, JSX, HTML, CSS, and PHP. I'm actively looking to add to my repertoire of knowledge.Aside from software engineering, I love many activities and facets of life. Before software engineering music was the focal point of my life. I played in my fair share of bands around the areas where I've lived and have even recorded and released an EP and album. I love slapping the skins on the drums as it is my main instrument but I also play the more melodic strings and keys of guitar and piano.As I've never had much of a fascination with the gym I've found a fun way for me to stay in shape has been bouldering. I love to climb. I like that opposed to just doing a physical action to get stronger it also challenges the mind when approached with a challenging route. If I'm having trouble finding my way to eh end of a route I have step back and take a hard look a the problem and map out how I need to approach it before jumping back on it. Much like sometimes having to take a step back from a block of code you're writing and really analyzing it is sometimes necessary to have figure out how to make it function properly.Now coding isn't the only thing I like to do on the computer. Often times I enjoy playing various games. I like whatever games are fun. I'm not picky. I just like having a good time with good people. However I tend to favorite online competitive games. I've been in the top 1% of players in R6: Siege and Rocket League. I've been headed that way in Chess and I'm currently sitting in the top 5% of players in the rapid time control. If coding had a leaderboard I'd definitely be pushing my way up those ranks!I have a fascination with insects and arachnids. I have a Curly-Haired Tarantula named Gwen. I've always said to myself if I wasn't involved with music and tech I would have loved to have made a career as an entomologist. Apart from the smaller critters of the Earth I also enjoy its other creatures. Being around animals. Alongside Gwen I have a Bearded Dragon named Hector and have formally had or cared for dogs, cats, various birds, and a bunny!I can translate many pieces of what I do into the tech world. I love how parts of completely different things can play into each other. I have many other interests. I'm very easygoing and relaxed so feel free to message me.
