Information Technology Training Specialist
Current• Formulate and maintain an Information Technology training strategy and work plan.• Develop curriculum, curate, craft, and deliver coursework on applications and systems utilized at LSC.• Apply educational principles and adult learning theory to collaborate with internal and external subject matter experts and stakeholders, ensuring training maximizes value.• Conduct technical training as part of the onboarding process for all new staff.• Orchestrate the execution of training sessions, determining dates, times, and locations, and coordinating facilities or online delivery platforms.• Stay abreast of changes to Software as a Service (SaaS) systems to update training documentation and introduce new features to LSC users.• Collaborate with the Office of Information Technology and LSC staff to analyze business needs and recommend technology solutions.• Evaluate and supervise external IT training services and contractors, including distance-learning and e-course platforms.• Provide technical expertise to the Training and Technical Assistance team, assisting in training on new products and services for grantees as needed.• Implement principles and methods related to best practices in instructional design and adult learning, evaluating tools and platforms for training delivery.• Provide basic application support via telephone or remote desktop for current LSC applications.• Gather user requirements for new systems or enhancements to existing systems.
