I’m Daniel Gold, a Grade 10 student at Holy Trinity School with a passion for technology, sports, and personal development. This is my second year at Holy Trinity, after spending eight years at Toronto Montessori School from Grade 1 to 8. I was born in Canada to a diverse background, with Russian heritage—my mother being from Kazakhstan and my father from Moscow.As someone who thrives on challenge and growth, I have immersed myself in various activities both inside and outside of school. In the realm of technology, I am proficient in Python, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML. I enjoy coding and have experience creating games and websites for others. This summer, I attended a coding camp where I further honed my skills by developing a website using Python. My interest in technology is not just a hobby but a passion I intend to explore further through future projects and studies.Beyond tech, I am actively involved in competitive swimming, a sport I have pursued for over three years. Last year, I was a proud member of my school’s swim team, where I developed discipline, teamwork, and resilience. I also served as a CIT (Counselor-in-Training) at the Holy Trinity School summer camp, where I gained valuable experience in leadership and mentoring younger students.In addition to my academic and extracurricular pursuits, I hold several certifications, including Emergency First Aid (EFA), Standard First Aid (SFA), CPR, Bronze Cross, and Bronze Medallion. These certifications reflect my commitment to being prepared and my ability to handle challenging situations effectively.My entrepreneurial spirit extends to various practical skills, such as landscaping, car detailing, window washing, and carpet cleaning, which I have undertaken as side projects. I also have experience in online marketing and selling, where I’ve learned the importance of strategy and communication.As I continue my education, I am excited to explore more opportunities that allow me to leverage my skills in technology, sports, and business. I am always eager to learn, grow, and contribute to any team or project I am a part of. I look forward to connecting with others who share similar interests and aspirations.
