U.S. Government resort located in southern Bavaria that employed over (180) Americans and (60) local nationals serving thousands of guests a year. As an MWR (Morale, Welfare, and Recreation) Recreation Specialist, I wore a variety of hats including tour guide, lead coordinator of the European Escapes Retiree Program, desk attendant/cashier, concierge, and child care staff.Tour Guide- Ability to perform 18 different tours, with attendance varying from 15 to 50 people and length varying from 4 to 13 hours. With smaller groups, driving the vehicles myself was often required. Ages on the tours varied from infants to retirees, often times all grouped together. Vast knowledge of European history and culture was required. European Escapes Retiree Program Lead Coordinator - In 2015 was selected as the coordinator of the European Escapes Retiree Program. Duties included securing reservations for attendees, promoting packages together with marketing department, driving and receiving attendants at the Munich airport, being a liaison for the guests during their 10 day stay, preparing a daily budget, leading the tours and activities in which they attended, and ensuring they had the trip of a lifetime. Desk Attendant/Cashier- Registering guests for tours, either via email, phone, or in person. Securing payment for tours and activities. Answering a variety of questions guests had about the area and assisting with vacation planning. Desk was located in hotel gift shop – sold merchandise via register. Would often times work with warehouse to secure new items, monitor inventory and sell merchandise to guests. Child Care Staff- Worked kids programs for Children ages 5-12. Would plan and lead activities for both the daytime and nighttime programs for groups of 14-50 children, while maintaining the staff/child ratio. Activities often included field trips, hikes, and tours where we would both drive them to various locations, and provide on-site supervision.

Greater St. Louis Area

- Increased membership to facility by giving tours, promoting packages, and handling registration duties.- Responsibilities included opening/closing facilities such as the recreation center, swimming pool, and outdoor fields.- Answered phones, mastered Rec Trac – a program to handle any financial business with costumers.- Scanned members in and out of various community facilities. Checked out equipment to customers.

Johnson City, Tennessee Area

Cincinnati, Oh

- Key member of the operation staff at six camps. Traveled around the country working events for athletes such as Kevin Durant, David Freese, Jake Locker, and Clay Matthews. Camp responsibilities included hydration, registration, camp store, camp set-up and break-down, and electronics.- Partnered with operations staff to secure camp facilities, sponsors, and participants within the planning phase.- Handled administrative tasks – answering phones, making copies, and sending mail.- Assisted in making of camp shirts and documents. Was responsible for retail inventory of three separate camps.- Made cold calls to secure lunch partners for various camps. Was successful in landing a partner for all camps assigned.
