I split my time between my two professional interests, psychiatry and biotechnology. Clinically, I cofounded a psychiatry and psychotherapy practice, The Midtown Practice (www.midtownpractice.com), with my friend and colleague Dr. Julia Samton. My biotech work includes my work at Riverside Pharmaceuticals (www.riversidepharma.com) which I founded, and at PsychoGenics (www.psychogenics.com), where I'm a director and cofounder. Psychiatry: Psychopharmacology and psychotherapy (including acceptance and commitment therapy, other therapeutic approaches, and executive coaching including an interest in working with entrepreneurs). Expertise in ADD/ADHD, anxiety (panic, generalized anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder), mood disorders (depression and bipolar disorder), and in coping with stressors from the personal to the professional.Biotechnology: Drug repurposing; CNS drug discovery; inflammation; psychiatric, neurodevelopmental and neurodegenerative disorders; other areas.
