I recently completed a Master's degree in Politics and Public Administration at the University of Konstanz (Germany). My thesis, entitled “Navigating Ideological Impact: Exploring Negativity Bias on YouTube," examined the factors that influence the viewership of U.S. Senators' YouTube videos. Using the pre-trained RoBERTa language model, I performed sentiment analysis on video captions to determine the level of positivity or negativity expressed. The results provided compelling evidence for the existence of a negativity bias in increasing audience engagement.During my tenure at Konstanz, I enhanced my practical skills as a student assistant in the Department of Quality Management. I conducted in-depth analysis of survey data using R and SPSS, translating findings into comprehensive reports with enhanced visualizations using Microsoft Office tools.Prior to my Master's, I earned a bachelor's degree in Political Science and German from Michigan State University, including a year abroad at the University of Freiburg (Germany). Following the completion of my bachelor's degree, I gained valuable experience working at the Oakland County Election Division, where I contributed to planning and organizing upcoming elections.
