Perform firefighting activities including driving fire apparatus, operating pumps, laying hose and performing fire combat, containment and extinguishment tasks. Perform emergency rescue and extrication work in burning buildings, as well as on vehicles and other accidents. Station 1 Captain for the Weare Fire Department. Providing leadership to 35 members on the Call Department.Instrumental in the Design and Implementation of the Weare Per Diem Program. Other duties include but are not limited to, fire suppression in structural as well as wild land environments and emergency medical services as a paramedic under highly stressful emergency conditions. Also, fire prevention, assisting with Fire and EMS departmental training, public education, station maintenance, always focusing on providing quality customer service.
