As team leader I have a number of responsibilities, but the primary one is to get our products out the door. My goals are to deliver results to the customers and do everything necessary to achieve this. To do this I need to make sure the development team is able to work as efficiently as possible and this means making sure they have clear goals, both short term and long term, and that nothing prevents them from doing their work. A good days work means: things work fluently, the work gets done with fruitful discussions and everyone is happy going forward. With a background in testing and Quality assurance (QA), I believe that a good and clear development process needs a guided and systematic testing procedure to ensure that the product or service being developed is meeting the expected quality and the specified requirements. With good quality we can increase our customers confidence and our company's credibility. To achieve this we need to constantly reflect over our working processes and personal efficiency when necessary make changes. We also need to make sure that our services and products are up to date and aligned with the customers expectations. After the product have gone in to production we are responsible for making sure that all new features and the system as one unit, is working as intended. To do this we need to be able to identify any abnormalities in the system early and we always need to be one step ahead. By planning for measure points and identify important KPI values that can be monitored and used to visualize the systems status, we have a good chance of finding potential bugs before our customers do.
