Daniel Gracey is currently working as a Senior Technical Program Manager at Microsoft overseeing strategic network infrastructure programs and initiatives for the Core Services Engineering and Operations organization. He is the Product Owner for the Name Resolution and IP Services team, setting vision, strategy and priority for projects and programs pertaining to Microsoft's internal wired corporate network. Using his training and experience in Agile development, he contributes to the organization's Agile Transformation through education, coaching, tooling, and product/service visioning.Before Microsoft, he was with Boeing for over eight years. He started with the company in the Boeing Defense, Space & Security Finance College Hire Rotation Program (FCHRP) working two rotations as a Business & Planning Analyst in Business Operations supporting Phantom Works and as an Integrated Scheduling Specialist supporting the P-8A Program.Daniel was working as an IT Project Manager supporting Commercial Aviation Services IT for six years where he gained experience developing diverse teams to accomplish project goals. Daniel’s last project was a new development effort called CACTUS, an XML based authoring and publishing system for technical manuals and training guides for commercial aircraft.Daniel was educated in Seattle where he earned a Master of Business Administration from Seattle University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Washington. He is a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and a Certified Agile Practitioner (PMI-ACP) with the Project Management Institute (PMI) and is a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) with the Scrum Alliance.Daniel is a hiker, world traveler, and an active member of his church.
