ROYWear was founded in 2008 by Daniel Grady from San Antonio, Texas, and Dr. Michael Billings from Fredericktown, Missouri. Deerblind™ camouflage was designed around a revolutionary new concept. A concept whereby the camouflage pattern was designed, from the ground up, around a color perception defect in the visual system of an ungulate (hoofed animal/the prey), instead of trying to appeal to the visual system of humans(the hunters). The principle aspects of the design are to use colors and patterns that render a hunter as “non-threatening” in the eyes of deer , while at the same time, making the hunter more visible to other humans, features that are especially important in situations where “hunter orange” is not used. Combining these two modalities produces the safest, most effective camouflage pattern ever designed to exploit the visual system of deer.

Work as a flight paramedic with primary responsibility as air crew member for traumatic and medical scene and transfer flights. I have been working with Air-Evac Lifeteam since 1998 and have worked at 10 of the 100 bases within 13 states. I am Nationally Registered as a paramedic, holding a license in the state of Texas. Past state licenses include: Missouri, Illinois, and Arkansas. I hold a degree in paramedic technology ( LP ) from Meramec Community College in St. Louis, Missouri. Secondary duties include lead educator for my home base in Carrizo Springs Texas, state certified EMS educator, PALS, PHTLS, ACLS, BLS, NRP instructor with qualification as coordinator.

Work with clients in dynamic professional positions acting as security and advisor to transport, logistics, medical and personal protection. My secondary function within IAEPA ( International Academy of Executive Protection Agents ) is to facilitate knowledge expansion in the specific area of tactical medicine. I have taught pre-plan medical, medical care under fire, care to client, and survival medical care in urban environments.
