I am the Lead Engineer and Chief Technical Officer at Speed UTV. I have led the development of our full line of high-performance sport side-by-side vehicles from concept to mass-manufactured reality. I enjoy developing full vehicle projects with attention to intelligent system integration across the entire vehicle architecture. This allows me to have in-depth knowledge of every system component. With this position, I have had the opportunity to travel the world for testing, development, and manufacturing from concept to reality. At Robby Gordon Motorsports, I led the design, manufacturing, and implementation of converting Robby Gordon’s famous, race-winning “unicorn” trophy truck from rear-wheel drive to four-wheel drive. In addition to participating in and supporting races such as the Baja 1000, 500, & 400, NORRA 1000 & 500, and King of the Hammers I have worked on countless motorsports design projects for Trophy Trucks, Stadium Super trucks, Race UTVs, and more. I have a passion for motorsports and a particular interest in high-performance off-road suspension systems & and going fast! I feel that I owe much of the opportunities in my career to my experience with the Baja SAE program. I was captain and suspension lead of my University's team UBC Baja. I am motivated to extend these opportunities to the next generation of STEM students and enjoy participating in outreach events with organizations like Solidprofessor, Hawkridge, and others.
