Following a year of customer service and administrative work for APHA, I am looking to expand on the skills and knowledge I have gained in order to build a career for myself within this sector. My degree in Multimedia Journalism has provided me with literary expertise, proficiency in gathering and assessing the quality of information and experience in the formatting of documents and articles, I then expanded on these skills in my time with the Animal and Plant Health Agency resulting in efficient administrative work. This administrative work was key in adding to my pre-existing customer service experience, cementing my customer service qualities both over the phone and by email, as well as adding key skills such as case management, data entry and great phone etiquette. As someone with years of customer service experience, I am looking to use the knowledge I have gained to forge a successful career in an area of work that I am passionate about, and to continue learning and picking up useful skills.
