The role of graduate design engineer involves the design and development of computer aided design models to be implemented on future vehicles. Primarily working under direction from more senior design team member, component and assembly virtual models are developed to meet supplier, customer and manufacturing constraints and considerations. Significant communication and collaboration with other stakeholders including studio design teams and engineering teams is performed to ensure designs meet styling considerations and best engineering practices are adhered to. The development of studies and the creation of installation assemblies is also performed in the process of the virtual design of vehicle components and parts.

The chassis system lead role involves the management of the entire chassis system of the vehicle.This involves the direction of team members to design and engineer parts and systems that make up the chassis. This involves a complete engineering process, including conception, design, design for manufacturing, manufacturing and finally testing.The chassis ties all other systems together so the role includes significant collaboration and communication with other systems and team members.
