Windhorse Community Services is a home health care organization which works with clients who are suffering from a wide variety of difficulties, including PTSD, addictions, brain injuries, mood disorders, anxiety disorders and various psychotic disorders. As team leader, I help with the structure and planning of the team, which is set up to work with an individual client, working with schedule, leading meetings, working with households, helping with the managing of medication, supervising housemates and basic attenders, and spending time each week with clients. As basic attender, I spend one on one time with clients helping out with what needs to be done, building relationship, cooking, eating, and enjoying the time together.
