Training and Development Officer: As a training and development officer my role was to train existing staff and new starters on the full job specification. This involved creating and delivering training material for supported hardware/software, networking TCP/IP, ADSL/SMPF, company systems, DPA, Windows/Macintosh operating systems etc. I also liaised with team leaders to cover any training needs for staff members and tested new products/services to deliver accurate training before the release date.P.S.E (Product Support Engineer): The role of a P.S.E was to work alongside other seniors to manage the development, stats and quality of the I.T helpdesk. I was the main point of contact for any technical queries, training needs, support and escalations for my team. This required a full understanding of 1st line, 2nd line, ADSL team positions along with the relevant tools to provide accurate advice to the I.T helpdesk. The role also involved managing agent breaks and ensuring there were enough heads to answer incoming calls and ultimately achieve our daily target within SLA.S.M.E (Subject Matter Expert): As a S.M.E my role was to train existing staff and new starters on the full job specification. This involved creating and delivering training material for supported hardware/software, ADSL/SMPF/CABLE services, company systems, BT/C&Wtools, DPA, Windows/Macintosh operating systems etc. I also liaised with team leaders to cover any training needs for staff members and tested new products/services to deliver accurate training before the release date. The position also provided me the opportunity to create emulators for the I.T helpdesk in order to assist in navigation around Windows and Macintosh operating systems.
