 Manage dark fiber delivery projects from inception to completion, ensuringthat all activities; contract engineering, product/equipment ordering,permitting regulatory, construction, fiber characterization / optimization, closeout,and turn-over to end user are effectively and efficiently coordinated andcompleted on time within budget and in accordance with the underlyingcontract Manage all external vendors necessary for timely completion and withinbudget. Develop accurate project plan and budget for all assigned projects, modify asneeded and direct turnover of completed jobs including the receipt of allrequired documentation. Lead internal and external deployment meetings with other managers andteam members to review the status of each job and implement changes asnecessary to ensure timely project completion. Attend customer deployment meetings to provide customer withcomprehensive job status reports and resolve any escalations or issuesthat arise. Ensure accurate and complete files are maintained for projects andappropriate turn over documents are distributed in a timely manner inaccordance with corporate and customer standards. Ensure that all projects are maintained in a tracking system with completeaccuracy.
