My experience as Project Manager was IP Telephony based. The projects I managed were for a large scale client and included defining project scope; communicating risks/issues to stakeholders and leadership; communicating project status/ progress on deliverables; managing the cross-functional teams including 3rd level software and hardware engineers and technical leads; managing the Change Management and escalation processes. The project involved over 100,000 seats, and included transforming the legacy network, as well as managing SW and HW deployments, upgrades, retrofits and patching in the production environment.In the HR realm, I have experience as an Executive/Management Search consultant, but the bulk of my experience was with EDS where I spent over five years as a full-cycle Corporate Recruiter recruiting a diverse range of potential employees (from entry level candidates to experienced IT, Software and Manufacturing engineers). This position included sourcing/posting ads, the initial and subsequent phone screening, arranging interviews, making the offer, completing an on-boarding orientation and corporate benefits overview.My People Management experience involved managing a team of 50 agents in a 24x7x365 Call Center for a major auto division for approximately two years. My responsibilities included hiring and training new agents, scheduling, conducting performance evaluations and development plans, monitoring and measuring their work productivity, and managing their compensation and bonuses.My Technical background began as a helpdesk agent providing 1st level support. This was followed by four years as a 2nd level remote NT/Exchange server administrator. Then for two years afterward I was an ITIL Problem Manager with a goal of driving down SEV 1 and 2 Incidents. Lastly, for nearly five years I worked as a Release and Retrofit Project Manager focusing on IP Telephony projects and the associated Change Management responsibilities.
