• Advisor and Member of the Portuguese Diaspora Council. With the high patronage of the Portuguese President of the Republic, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, as its Honorary President, the Portuguese Diaspora Council aims to strengthen relations between Portugal and its diaspora, which includes Portuguese and Portuguese descendants who have lived outside of Portugal for more than three years.• Through their merit and influence, the council members can contribute to the universal affirmation of Portuguese values and culture and the elevation of Portugal as a country. The main instrument of intervention of the Council of the Portuguese Diaspora is the 'World Portuguese Network,' which involves a wide range of Portuguese influence in four areas: Economics, Science, Culture, and Citizenship

- Drive the achievement of the President of Global Health and Sustainability objectives by working with Leadership Team, ECN (Executive Committee Novartis) and other senior key stakeholders.- Prepare internal/external presentations ensuring full alignment with the overall corporate strategy.- Lead special strategic projects for Global Health and Sustainability, engaging with senior management as core members of the leadership team. - Strategic Assistant (Chief of Staff) to the President of Global Health and Sustainability, which includes the ESG Office (Environmental, Social and Governance).

- Responsible for post deal integration and separations projects in overall Novartis Operations and part of Global Strategy Operations.- Drive and influence stakeholders at all levels in the organization to ensure required strategic decisions are made in time and are routed into appropriate governance channels- Manage operational interface with Business Partner, ensuring optimal business outcomes for both Novartis and the partners.

- Leading global cross-functional teams with the following key stakeholders: Strategy, Finance, Marketing, Legal, Production, Corporate Tax, Global Sourcing and Research&Development.- Novartis TechOps single point of contact towards other Pharma companies, managing contracts and related Service Level Agreements.

- Lead global cross-functional teams - Global Tech Transfers- Prepare business cases including financial evaluation (ROI, NPV)- Drive the definition of global project milestones and ensure project implementation according to the designed and agreed strategy

- Lead and implement Life Cycle Projects in order to ensure smooth product flow and high customer service level.- Lead Projects for process and performance improvement

- Project Manager in International Production Transfer- Production experience: responsible for leading process improvement initiatives and leading root cause investigations

- Created a forecasting and tracking tool to manage the department costs- Responsible for the viral clearance validation study, and scaling down a biotech process. - Developed and managed Microsoft Project trainings for the department.

- Developed an innovative approach to produce metabolites which are formed during drugs administration- Involved in drug development processes; working within cross functional teams
