Responsible for the day-to-day running of the Business Finance Division, managing six direct reports and managing the compliance of the department. I am responsible for compiling detailed credit reports for the board of directors and large exposure committee. My role includes dealing with the administration of our broker network and managing our yearly budgets which are reportable each half year.

A pivotal part of the underwriting team who was responsible for middle ticket underwriting. As part of my senior role I was responsible for visiting high exposure customers to complete audits on current agreements and potential new business. I covered the entirety of the United Kingdom and was required to report back to our Large Exposure committee.

Within the first year I have halved our overall budget for parts purchases using newly forged relationships. Targeted B2B Account manager covering London and the surrounding counties.I am tasked with developing the sales strategy for my territory to achieve monthly sales targets while ensuring dealer relationships are kept strong and perform to a margin quality and efficiency target.I cover all finance mediums from Cars, LCV's & Motorbikes. I continue to identify new opportunities while engaging in relationship management to build a greater portfolio. This also includes updating all clients of new legislation and updates to current procedures, either at the board room or shop floor level. This is aided by my high degree of Business & Commercial focus to the job in hand and the ability to lead..

My role requires me to provide flexible underwriting ability to deals up to a level of £20k. This includes finance applications outside of the Credit remit. In my current position I hold the highest mandate of underwriting at my branch and apply this knowledge to the daily running of the underwriting team. I am also responsible for calculating all commission and claw backs for both funded and non-funded dealers. This started as an ad-hoc duty, but now is part of my core role and is supported by my mandate level.I have increased mandate three times in the time I have been working, passing both Basic & Advanced credit underwriting courses to a level in which I am given the responsibility to make corporate decisions in relation to our branch. I am required to forge working relationships with dealers and brokers and to sell our company ethos to those who may wish to use someone else. This is a core competency of this role; which I have been commended on numerous times due my professional approach.

In the role I was required to provide administrative support to the underwriting function of the department. This includes providing support to external customers, compiling reports to internal sources and general administrative duties. Core responsibilities include collating external and internal data to determine the total risk exposure for a client or entity. The distribution of files to the appropriate function according to specific set of rules & guidelines. Fraud prevention and liaising with the underwriting team. Within the first 10 months, I was given a promotion to a new pilot scheme; which has since been recognised business wide and has been attributed to my work style. Another core aspect is liaising with six sales managers to compile credit worthiness and to check competitive margins.

My role required mass duplication of contract figures for external government organisations. Liaising with council staff and other duties required.

This role required intricate data entry from many mediums, and releasing inputted data onto a corporate platform. This also included creating and analyzing media mediums for production and input.

This role was crucial for my work place development while at Secondary School. I learnt general office procedure, computer maintenance, business presentations and web design.
