From 1983 to 2000 – French Air ForceStarting in 1985, I joined a squadron of C160 tactical planes (in-flight refueling aircrafts) and was appointed Captain .During 8 years, I flew numerous critical and miscellaneous missions, which made me very familiar with the heavy traffic routes of polar, oceanic and continental airspaces.Since 1992, I flew over 5500 hours, mainly in Europe, United States and Africa on board of DC8 long range aircraft.In 1998, I was selected to join the prestigious Flight Test Center of Brétigny. Due to my extensive knowledge of the DC8 navigation system, I was appointed as the navigator for all the flight tests of the aircraft.In 2000, I joined Flight Safety International, the world leading aviation training company, to set-up a new department In charge of special courses.As an instructor, I am also the author of several courses, such as RVSM, LNAVVNAV.OCEANIC, CPDLCTo date, I have been teaching over 10000 hours.
