First and foremost I am a father and husband. I love nothing more than the simple things such as time spent supporting my sons at their football games, or a Friday night pizza and film event to mark the end of another busy week. In terms of hobbies and other interests, I have always been incredibly passionate about exercise and understanding nutrition, training five times a week religiously. I am also a massive music fan and guitar player in my down time, having in fact graduated from Peterborough Regional College where I studied Music Performance directly after I finished my GCSE's. Professionally, the bulk of my experience comes as an experienced Store Manager with a demonstrated history of working in the retail industry. As a result of this my skill base lies in management, customer service, sales and delivering strong leadership. More recently I have embraced an exciting new challenge in order to develop additional skills whilst also complementing my existing base, developed over my career at Signet. This challenge has come in the form of my various roles within the Business Solutions division of Western Union International Bank.As a Business Acquisitions Executive, I gained a comprehensive understanding of the international business needs of UK companies and specialised in tailoring industry specific payment solutions that provide greater certainty when dealing overseas. I assisted in the structured implementation of industry specific payment solutions and bespoke currency risk management strategies to a range of different business sectors.In my current role as a part of the Digital Relationship Management Team, my primary purpose is to deliver an unparalleled level of customer service to a full regional portfolio of both VSE and SME profile digital customers. This I achieve through migration and adoption of the Convera EDGE payments platform as well as the ongoing support and nurturing of my clients through collaboration and effective relationship management.
