I am responsible for sourcing revenue for Synergy Radio via calling up businesses, arranging meet and greet fundraising events and writing to trusts. I write all of the adverts for the station and then send them off to be professionally produced. I also send out social media feeds linked to the station so that adverts get a second airing in the virtual world among all my connections. I also present a show with a colleague every Friday, mixing music with chat and local event promotion.

As one of the State Room Guides I was able to assist the visiting public in appreciating and enjoying their time in the castle to the full. Walking around is one thing but having experts in art, furniture and history help you decipher each room and why they are uniquely from each other is priceless. As a children's entertainer I was "Head Boy" for the Harry Potter Hogwarts Banquets, leading parties of families in the feasting and make believe. Workshops for wand making, potions and, yes, even flying lessons were open to all. During the day I reverted to a more academic role as Professor Gurney where I read excerpts from the Harry Potter books to visiting parties of school children in Alnwick Castle's impressive two tier Prudoe Tower Grand Library.

Assistant to the Technical Director of Blackheath Concert Halls. Helped plot lighting for performances, rig audio and build sets. Worked from height on solid and hanging platforms, tallescopes and scissor lifts. Liaised with incoming production companies and artists as producer and ran the desks for shows.Alongside this I was freelance audio-visual technician for Capitol House Productions in London fitting cameras, camera operator and time stamp synching A/V. Work across London independently in the theatre industry.
