I led the Recruitment and Employee experience functions while also providing strategic P&C Business Partnering to the Supporter Engagement teams (Analytics, Fundraising, Marketing, Retail and Philanthropy).

I led a team of 40 to deliver the membership and corporate processing functions at Medibank. Key aspects of my role are planning, process improvement, management of the $4mil budget, people leadership and vendor management.The Membership team processes all things Private Health Insurance; AGR forms, new joins, Transfer Certificates, membership cancellations, amongst 50+ discrete processes within the team of 25.The Corporate processing team look after all the invoicing, payment processing and day to day management of our corporate clients. The team of 14 manage payments for 400 clients across payroll, invoiced and split billing arrangements.

I partnered with people leaders and employees across the, Finance, Operations, Procurement, Property, IT, Healthcare and People and Culture teams to deliver sustained improved capability and performance. I worked with people leaders to manage the most complex people related issues that occur in their business unit. These include managing chronic absenteeism, performance management and sensitive employment relations issues. In addition I led the planning, communications and implementation of significant organisational change. I also lead the delivery of the strategic people plans in the business units that I supported.

I worked closely with senior management in IT to drive significant cultural change; shifting the business unit in a publicly owned organisation to a commercially driven function in an ASX listed organisation. This included managing numerous restructures and cultural change activities and moving our teams into an activity based working environment in a new building and uplifting our commercial focus. Alongside large scale change I led performance management processes, delivered talent and development programs and advised people leaders on a wide range of people issues.

I began the role working primarily across end to end recruitment of permanent staff, assisting bulk casual recruitment, providing general HR administrative support (resignations/parental leave/FWAs/contract variations) and assisting in complaint and disciplinary matters. Following a team restructure after 6 months I became responsible for managing performance improvement processes, providing award, enterprise agreement and NES advice to managers, running complaint investigations including disciplinary actions and Workers Compensation Claim management in addition to HR generalist administration.

I programmed market research surveys for phone and web interviewing. I worked closely with project managers and contact centre managers to ensure surveys and data management were completed successfully in line with client and operational requirements.
