Besides ensuring stable BAU operations, I support the achievement of the overall company goals and KPIs/SLAs and provide a single point of… Show more my role is to ensure a high quality and stable operations within the EVO SAP environment which is one of the largest SAP implementations across the world covering HR, FI and SCM processes for 25 international local markets with over 100 000 customers by working closely together with an internal supplier in India (Vodafone Shared Services India – VSSI). Besides ensuring stable BAU operations, I support the achievement of the overall company goals and KPIs/SLAs and provide a single point of contact between the Managed Services Department in Germany and VSSI to manage operational escalations and safeguard critical operational activities and periods. I am also ensuring that EVO operations is at the forefront of innovation by integrating new technology such as Sybase Unwired Platform Mobile SAP applications and HANA in-memory database technology. I also gained experience on transitioning OnPrem SAP environments to Cloud solutions like GCP and nowadays towards SAP RISE to make sure our environments are operationally ready from operations processes and integration. Besides required BAU Governance to achieve Operational Silence, I am running successful initiatives on technical Housekeeping/Archiving, control of EWA Reporting and maintaining successful relations with our third party company partners. I am responsible to integrate innovation technologies such as Mobile SUP and HANA into support structures and existing processes. In addition, I am responsible to transition these services from the System Integrator to internal offshore departments incl. management of Knowledge Transfer, Shadowing/Reverse Shadowing and proper training/documentations.

I am responsible for the Problem Management process for 23 international local markets to make sure functional and technical root cause analyses are driven with proper quality and final solutions and preventive measures are being implemented to avoid reoccurences of business critical issues. In addition I am driving a number of pro-active initiatives in Problem Management to reduce the overall number of issues.
