Developing on my days of assisting Onepoint, the company undertook an upscaling project which enabled them to take me on full time. I fully setup 2 offices, running all the required cables back to a cupboard, offering a 0 noise solution with 2 landlines per desk and allowing me to work on the whole system easier should it have any faults. Putting suppliers against one another during the purchasing phase, allowing me to deliver what was required for far less than market rate. During this time I further developed my video editing skills, enhancing Onepoints online presence further and after revisiting the google ads campaign, managed to boost the click through rate even further, up to 8%. As a result, Onepoint has seen its highest amount of new customers this calendar year compared to any other year in its existence and continues to grow its reach until this day.

Having taken an interest in IT as a whole from a young age and later self-teaching multiple Adobe applications, I started helping at Onepoint with their IT when required, dealing primarily with networking and physical hardware installs on evenings/ weekends. A majority of my work for Onepoint at this time was creative work, branching into marketing. I was responsible for their google AdWords campaign and marketing materials, the campaign of which excelled, with clicked through rate being a real standout performer.

After being put forward for the position due to my familiarity with photoshop, I picked up a job at Trooli where I was responsible for arranging the installation of telecommunications cabinets. Finalising position based on land ownership, creating a 3D render of the cabinet in situ, marking up a photo with how work should be complete and subsequently getting this approved with the council. Once approved I would arrange the permits to secure road space and book the ground teams. Having recovered the sector ailing position, I redesigned the workflow and notably created a step by step guide with CAD drawings to help the ground teams understand the job at hand and why proper completion of these works was so vital. During quitter times I was more than happy to help out in other areas of my department even covering some light management duties when asked of me, tracking KPIs. As a whole my time at Trooli was positive, I received a warm reception on my way out and feel my efforts were genuinely appreciated by the multiple teams I cooperated with. Both internal and external.

Starting in Sixth Form and working my way up, I was able to gain experience as a duty manager in my latter months at Halfords, responsible for tracking KPIs, locking up store, taking in deliveries, arranging refunds and much more. My most notable work during this phase was a reform to the KPI system as requested by my manager at the time, who moved me into the position due to his belief in my competence to push the store further. I created a new KPI board in the colleague room which not only rewarded those that excelled but allowed newcomers to identify the correct person in their times of need with ease. I found my work load to become repetitive soon after and whilst the experience, especially at my age, was diverse and useful. Having finished school I felt it was time to move onto bigger things.
