My fascination with math started at the age of 4, and I have been learning and exploring math ever since. I'm a 2nd-year Honours Math student at the University of Waterloo continuing my journey into complex math concepts such as multivariable calculus and statistics. I’m looking for opportunities to apply my problem-solving skills and knowledge to the real world in the areas of statistics, finance, software development, R&D, and other disciplines. In my co-op placement at TD, I was a BSA on the Enablement Team supporting the TD Scaled Agile transformation. During that term, I contributed to the transformation in the form of data analysis, spreadsheet reconciliation, and spreadsheet data automation. I collaborated with multiple teams in the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) across the company. By utilizing my knowledge of collaborative tools Jira and Confluence, I implemented data importing and integration solutions from Excel into Confluence.At my last co-op in the ORCCA lab at Western University, I worked with a team of other students to create packages for the Maple math software. I translated mathematical functions and algorithms for hypergraphs into code to create the Maple Hypergraphs package. Using the concept of code efficiency, I optimized the implementation of the functions over time to run quicker and handle larger inputs much better with methods such as divide and conquer and bit vector calculation.
