I have over 19 years of experience in the military workforce development training and security fields; I am the Employment Director for the MSARNG Work for Warriors Program, a grant-funded initiative that supports the employment needs of our service members, spouses, dependents, and veterans. I have a BS in Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness and a background in Antiterrorism, Force Protection and Physical Security, and Related Protective Services from Ashford University. I have a strong background in workforce development, training, government contract management, risk mitigation, quality assurance, and contract compliance.I possess expertise in Strategic Thinking, Relationship Building, Data-Driven Decision Making, and Grant and Contract Management. I excel in securing and managing multi-million-dollar contracts, overseeing program staff onboarding, training, and performance evaluation, and establishing and maintaining effective relationships with government agencies, contractors, and stakeholders. I have trained and developed over 30,000 National Guard Soldiers in Pre-Deployment Operations and 15,000 Airmen in Disaster Relief Mobile Kitchen Trailer (DRMKT) operations. Co-created and implemented the first National Guard National Career Readiness Certification Program in the United States. Partnering with Woodward-Hines Education Foundation, 5th Squad, and ACT the program is designed to provide our young soldiers with an occupational profile helping us identify their workplace strengths and match them with quality employers.
