I am currently studying a Bachelor of Mathematical and Computer Science, majoring in Computer Science. Over the course of my studies, I have heavily improved my skills in coding for numerous languages such as C++, HTML, CSS, Javascript and a little bit of Python. I have also developed my problems solving and data analysis and applied these to a software development perspective. I thoroughly enjoy the technical aspect of software development using algorithms and data structures to create optimal solutions.I am pursuing a career in technology whether it is for a company creating their own software or for one that consults other businesses for their needs where I hope to improve my knowledge of systems and how they are developed and maintained. This aligns with my skills in coding, driving improvement and critical thinking. I have both experience in retail where I work as a kitchen hand for Hungry Jacks and inside the office doing a summer vacationer as a technology consultant at Deloitte. Both helped develop my skill in working in a pressured environment usually within a team. Outside of University, I enjoy playing and watching sports like basketball and football. Playing basketball gives me something to do outside of studying and work. I also enjoy using my hands to build things such as Lego or assembling furniture from Ikea.
