Senior Superintendent
CurrentSenior superintendent at 2529 Orleans, a major renovation project of a 150 year old 70,000 sf building in Detroit's historic Eastern Market. The building was originally built in 1868 as the Detroit Brewing Company with numerous additions added through the years. In 1950 it was renovated into a cold storage building storing meats, fruits and vegetables. In 2017 it was purchased by the developer with Rockford starting construction fall of 2021. The new use includes cutting 100 new arched windows through three foot thick masonry walls creating a space for iHeart Media and Radio station's new headquarters, a new restaurant featuring a patio solarium with a retractable window wall system, office space, a roof-top patio with a great view of downtown Detroit and a basement night club housed in the basement's long barrel vaults. This project has been nominated for the best historical masonry restoration project for 2020 in the country.
