I've done graphic design for Flight Simulator add-ons(freeware and payware) over the last 10 years; my participation for the flightsim community has been in giving the aircraft a “real” look & feel. My work is shown in AVSIM and FLIGHTSIM, the biggest communities of Flight Simulation worldwide. I have now taken this experience to develop aircraft and airline illustrations for different companies in the aviation bussiness. I was invited to this newly born project. I participated as design consultant and facilities manager.During the construction of the clinic, I dealed with all the suppliers except from the medical. I evaluated the options of different furniture, decoration and practical solutions for the facilities. Elaborated all the blue prints for furniture layouts; electrical, voice & data. I was assigned Operations & Facilities Manager. I installed sterilization equipment and UV radiation lights in the surgical area, coordinating and executing that project in only 4 days. As time evolved, I was in full charge of designing and coordinating the different advertisement spots (radio, magazines & T.V.) heading the marketing department for 5 years. This department became the spinal cord of pacient generation throughout time. I dealt with TV, radio and print supplyers in terms of prices, event programming and operating day-today basis. Every format the clinic uses right now, was designed by me. I also coordinate the design, printing and delivery of such formats. VISIONCARE was the only ophthalmology clinic in Mexico certified by International Quality Certificate ISO 9000; I also participated vigorously in the design of processes to achieve this certification. From November 2005 through July 2010 I headed the clinic and patient counseling department, a challenging opportunity to deal with patients daily. I raised the conversion rate from candidate-to-surgery from 40 to 60% in 2005-2006; having procedures record in refractive surgeries in December 2005. Until now convertion rate has risen to 80%. From July-November 2008 I fully participated in the conception, design en execution of the optical store within the clinic; I traveled to San Francisco, CA to see a design firm for help in initial concept (Eight Inc.) I designed the furniture, the frame displays and the main countertop for customer attention.
