As an intern within the SIT&E organization I worked to understand aerospace systems and systems of systems within my program's designed product in order to develop, release, and execute system acceptance test procedures (ATPs). I took on individual tasking of the ATP development and release process acting as a full time engineer in support of assigned team deliverables. I also interfaced with System Test Technicians in order to provide engineering support of necessary equipment assembly and was trained on hydraulic support equipment handling and operation to support oversight of safe execution of test procedures.

At Northrop Grumman I assisted in tracking, management, and release of over 400 engineering documents to meet schedule for a major program milestone, learned and utilized the process for making program critical changes through management decision boards, and gained a functional understanding of Siemen's Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software where I subsequently oversaw the training of over 80 users including managers, directors, and VPs in use of the tool.

• Work directly with US Army Corps of Engineers on design and analysis of horizontal and vertical assets in CONUS and OCONUS operations• Conduct infrastructure assessments prior to standing up new forward operating bases, for facilities construction design, immediate disaster recovery response, and contingency operations planning.• Supported Ulchi Freedom Guardian Korea, Field Force Engineering Training Alabama (x2), and construction design engineering in support of humanitarian missions at Soto Cano AB, Honduras o Soto Cano mission conducted over 15 days. Mechanical engineering support on 5-man team inspecting 25+ buildings for deconstruction and redesign to be consolidated to 8. Redesign covered 1,100,000+ sq. ft. of land and 400,000+ sq. ft. construction.

Most of my summer was spent reviewing and updating the Environmental Control System Flight Test requirements and identifying and coordinating instrumentation placement or relocation for the design team and in support of our analysis model validation

For a full summer season I was a camp counselor for over 50 youth in residential cabin groups of 6-12 boys of middle and high school age. I was an instructor for team-building courses, high ropes challenge courses, water skiing days, and camping trips, and I worked closely with a peer team of counselors in designing and delivering program goals. As a role model and mentor, I was able to contribute to the transformative development of these youth by teaching life lessons with daily cabin cleaning, community-building, expanding their understanding and application of Christian values, and encouraging positive relations and conflict resolution with others.
