I worked as a Part II Architectural Assistant in the design and planning department. My key roles included producing full planning applications, pre application documents, design and access statements, drawings for consultants, feasibility plans and appeal drawing documents. I would work with the in house land buyers and consulted with the technical department. When possible I visited development construction sites and represented the company at public consultations.

As a graduate of five continuous years at AUB, I assisted in preparing and delivering the highly successful RIBA Part I and II course validation assessment visit in October 2014. My role included compiling and editing the student appraisal documentation, coordinating the student meetings, preparing the MArch exhibition of work and liaising with the exam board during the visit.

Working with Urban Enrichment and the National Trust, the aim of the project is more than just to raise awareness of climate change evident through rapidly rising sea levels. It is the intent to provide a method of preserving the longevity of such experiences by designing something simple to construct and inherently robust due to composition and specific use of materials. Collaborating with the National Trust the prototype future proof beach hut has generated a high level of media coverage via the BBC and Sky News as well as numerous local and national newspapers. Some owners of beach huts at Studland have already shown interest in placing orders when production takes place. My role comprised of assisting in the design and construction phases, calculating and compiling expenses documents as well as producing a comprehensive report documenting "The Future Proof Beach Hut". I continued my architectural office experience at Morgan Carey Architects during the 2013 summer vacation period whilst I prepared for the final year of my Master of Architecture qualification.I continue to be involved with the practice attending their monthly CPD Seminars and also the RIBA Dorset branch events.
