Hudson Design Group (HDG) is a full service, Engineering and Project Management firm that strives to be on the leading edge of new technology and standards. HDG currently provides Civil and Structural Engineering services throughout the Eastern United States. Through HDG’s quality control and assessment a client will know that the design they are getting is accurate from an engineering standpoint and has been properly value engineered.HDG was founded by Daniel P. Hamm, P.E. in July of 2002 and began in the communication industry. All of HDG’s personnel have been working in the engineering field for many years and the company has worked for various private and public clients such as AT&T, Verizon, MetroPCS, T-Mobile USA Inc., and Sprint/Nextel. HDG has provided multiple services including structural engineering; architectural engineering; electrical and grounding design; QA/QC review; site and feasibility analyses; site design, permitting and zoning support; code reviews; and project management services. In addition, HDG has provided expert testimony in several municipalities across the New England area.In 2007 with the addition to the company of key structural engineers, HDG began to more fully develop its structural department and diversify into residential and commercial projects. The structural department has designed and developed equipment support platforms on various types of buildings including steel, masonry and wood construction. In addition, they have provided full structural design for numerous residential and commercial building projects throughout New England.
