I started as materials scientist and invented great technical solutions, which would not sell at all. I could not explain why, so I quit my job to study economics. In those two years and many good reads I finally understood that I had created solutions to problems that nobody in the industry had. Today I use the learnings of my past mistakes to create innovations that have impact on the market and the power to disrupt. To innovate is much more satisfying than just to invent.
