As the Quality and Health and Safety Lead at GMH UK LTD, a steel stockholders and engineering firm, I oversee the quality management system and the health and safety policies and procedures for the company. I have a certification in ISO 9001, the international standard for quality management, and I am passionate about ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety for our products, services, and employees.In my current role, I work closely with the senior management, the production team, the suppliers, and the customers to implement and maintain the ISO 9001 requirements, conduct audits and inspections, identify and resolve any quality or safety issues, and provide continuous improvement and training. I also collaborate with the engineering team to provide technical support and guidance on the steel and machined parts that we supply for the yellow goods and automotive sectors. I am motivated by the challenge and satisfaction of delivering high-quality and safe solutions that meet the needs and expectations of our diverse and demanding clients.
