Currently learning the world of home healthcare and how to apply my years of marketing and admissions knowledge into being the best coordinator I can be. Previously the Admissions Director at a skilled nursing facility with experience in social services and business office assistant. Has worked within to manage employees (payroll, hr, and benefits) and accounts payables and discharge planning and grievances. Currently focused on census development and managing referrals including the transition from the hospital to the snf for new admissions. Maintaining positive relationships with local hospitals, assisted living facilities, Pcp’s and specialty docs, and home health care agencies in order to better serve our patients and provide the best outcomes. Daily rounding at the hospitals to provide patient satisfaction upon admission and safe transitions (including having proper equipment and services prepared before patients arrive).
