Daniel H. Harder is the Division President of Celebrity Mortgage Solutions a division of Celebrity Home Loans. With forty years of experience in mortgage banking, Dan has been impactful in creating a historical contribution to the reverse mortgage industry. Dan identified the need and successfully unified other leaders while forging the path. His vision for an effective reverse mortgage loan origination platform has come to fruition as EPIC - a revolutionary platform that allows operational efficiency through the entire loan process while freeing the loan officer to manage relationships and business development. Since 2008 Dan was a Principal and Executive Vice President of 1st Reverse Mortgage USA where he oversaw capital markets, operations, and business development for more than a decade. He was also the Executive Vice President of Mountain Pacific Mortgage Company for more than thirteen years. During his career Dan has been responsible for the oversight of Residential Operations and risk management of three additional companies. He also helped to either reconstruct or develop new departments by defining pipeline management and file-flow management, maximizing profitability and minimizing risks to companies. His successful career in capital markets, operations, and as a sales leader have earned him the reputation of a respected leader in the mortgage industry. Dan currently serves on the NRMLA/HUD and NRMLA State and local Regulatory committees. He has also served on committees for the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) and the National Reverse Mortgage Lenders Association (NRMLA). He was on the NRMLA Board of Directors and the HECM Mortgage-Backed Securities committee (GNMA). In 2009, he was co-chair of the NRMLA HECM for Purchase (H4P) committee. Being a strong advocate of the H4P and believing it will be a viable program in years to come, Dan was instrumental in assisting HUD and NRMLA in bringing the purchase option to the reverse mortgage industry. Along with serving at the national level, Dan has served on numerous Colorado Mortgage Lender Association (CMLA) committees including the Legislative Committee and the Board of Directors.Dan is committed to assisting everyone who is interested in working with senior homeowners.
